Mr. Stavrianidis is a past president of the Pan-Pontian Federation and a Vice president of the Federation of Hellenic American Organizations of New Jersey. His presentation deals with the events leading to the killing and expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Hellenes from Asia Minor and Pontos (today’s Turkey) which signaled the end of the Hellenic civilization that dominated that part of the world since ancient times.
