Coomemoration of the Genocide On Saturday May 23, our association will organize two activities to honor the memory of the Pontian greek Genocide. These manifestations will take place in Rinkeby, Stockholm and are open to everyone because they will be in two languages, the Swedish and the English. We are honoring the memory of the 350 000 Pontian Greeks who lost their life in the most cruel and brutal way mankind have ever witnessed.The Genocide and its resultsTime and place12:00 - 14:30 at the aula of Rinkebyskolan in Rinkeby, StockholmThis manifestation will be in English entirely and is open to the public. Our guest speakers are Mr. Theofanis Malkidis, the Armenian Chief editor Vahagn Avedian and the Assyrian lecturer Mr. Sabri Atman. Co-organizers are the Armenian Federation, the Assyrian Federation and the Greek Cultural Center.The Pontian IssueTime and place17:30 - 19:30 in the Greek Association's premises in Rinkeby, StockholmThis manifestation is for all Greeks due to the fact that it will be strcitly in the Greek language. Speaker will be our guest from Greece Mr. Theofanis Malkidis. Our association will also present our first ever booklet with information about he Pontian Greek history and the Genocide. Co-organizers are the Greek Association of Northen Stockholm, The Epirus Network in Sweden and the Greek Cultural Center.
